I've recuperated a harddisk from a defunct PC and got it formatted OK. Started to copy data to it with Ghost, got an I/O error and then suddenly the disk disappeared from explorer. Booted into setup, disk is there in IDE configuration table but size is reported as 0 MB. Disk doesn't show up anywhere else in BIOS nor Windows and is therefor not accessible by Ghost or Partitionmagic.
