   I need some help my CD DVD drive wont read any Cd's or burn or do anything. Its really annoying and its been like this since i got this new computer.. I have a Phillips DVD+RW DVD8631, can anyone help me ?

   You probably just need to reinstall your cd driver.

   A firmware update may help. I'd check Philips' site first and if that doesn't help you can also try here:
