I've downloaded a game using a p2p program and I'm looking for help to get it working. It was a large (1GB) zipped file that unzipped into 2 folders (Disk1 and Disk2) and a "tar" file. The nfo file says to "burn, install and play" - I burned Disk 1 onto a CD but there is no executable file in it. I tried using Alcohol to mount the 2 disks on to virtual drives but it doesnt recognize them. The tar file apparently is an application but I cant get it to run.
I hope I havent violated any forum rules, and thanks to anyone who can offer help or directions to a place where I can find help.

tar isn't an app file, its a compiler/compressor file, like zip. you need to get winRAR, which will convert the tar file into an iso or bin file which you can then burn as an image in nero.
