I need help unistalling nero buring rom from my computer.

I have had Nero installed on my computer for quite some time, and love the programs features and ease of use. Unfornatly its settings were somehow changed from the defaults and my cds are not readable after the being burned. So I after failing to find a way to get the defaults back, and stay that way I decided to uninstall and then reinstall thinking that would fix the problem. This didn't work, infact the serial number was already there and the setting s were still the same. I have searched for any leftover files from the uninstallation, and found a few which I deleted and then tried reninstalling again with no avail. Samething happened.

Please help me completely remove nero from my system or return settings to default.

    Thank You

I am not familar with semtex. What is it?

In regards to using nero clean tools, that did the trick I believe, but it must be my cd burner just getting old or the software is trying use features my burner doesn't support.

    Sony CRX0811 8x 4x 32x with seamless link
Looked for updated firmware but couldn't find any.

    Nero's default setting is

Disc-At-Once/96 but the discs only come out as having one audio.cda fileon them or as if they were not finalized.

when i select Disc-At-Once, they seem to work.

any suggestions? any one know of an updated firmware version for CRX0811?

    Thank You

You shouldn't have a problem burning RAO DAO\96.To be 100% sure, load Nero Info Tool, chose your Sony and down near the bottom, see if your Sony is capable of burning RAO DAO\96 Basically this mean burning data with 96-sub-q channel (data and audio) bytes. I've had nothing but nightmares with Nero 6.x, so I went back to Nero 5.x
Try some free burning programs and see if you encounter the same problems burning RAO DAO\96.
