that link doesn't work but I just googled "logoaway" and found it easily. Put it in your plugins folder.

But my question about removing logos leads to a more fundamental question. Is there a way to open the code on the huge video files and do something like "find and replace" to remove the logo? Wordpad isn't doing it for me of course, and I haven't ever tried any code for these.

So what does open the video files so one could do that logo removal manually (if there is a problem with logoaway such as the one I'm having now)?

You can't use a text editor to edit video.
Virtualdub mod will easily edit all sorts of video.
If you don't like logoaway, try region remove by shaun faulds. (google it) ;)

    thanks for your reply.
It's not that I don't like it, just that I suppose the control monkey in me wants to be able to open the code as if it were html, though of course I have no experience with video encoding.
I'll try both again and quit wanting to overreach myself.
    thanks again.
