I have a dual core pentium D at 2.8 ghz. I am planning on getting the new nvidia mid range direct x 10 cards in april. Will my cpu really be holding me back. Btw I have 2 gigs of ram.
eh it was cheap... I dont play pc games unless their 60 fps or above. Im only looking to play high end directx 9 games like fear and sega rally revo(coming soon) I dont think im going near crysis.
if u get a core 2 duo u wont get more than 5-10fps so the best way to go is oc ure pc, a pentium d as said b4 is not the best for gaming but it certainly can and will handle modern games for at least a year and a half
