virtualdub crashes after i load a file. i've download it three times. still crashes. jfuse says it works but it doesn't. it just seems to hang out on my desktop and look pretty. blaze media will begin converting the avi to mpeg but i get an error 1/2 way through. konverter errors out, too. tmpgenc stops working 1/2 way through. i don't know what to do! i've tried for two days to either split an avi or convert it to mpeg and have successfully done neither.
get avifixed and divfix, and check if there is any corrupt frames, dont forget to make a backup of the avi before using either!
