well, the things is that I don't know how to get a phoneline set up, so who do I call and what sort of things do I need fo setting a telephone connection. thanks in advance
If you're talking about phone service, contact the phone company. If you're talking about dial-up internet service, call whoever the provider is, and they should be able to walk you through the setup. They have web address numbers (and other technical info) that is used only by them, that you'll you'll need to type into certain blank areas, in the settings. Some companies have a cd they will give you, that sets it all up for you.
