if you can change the w95 instalation in ff7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!

    hi
    just in case do you know if you can change the instalation form in a game
    it is ff7 and i cant install it because it is for w95 and i was wondeing if i can do something!!!

    hmm does it install from 1 file? or a whole cd?

    sorry what operating system are you using and what type of file is it?

    what do you mean what windows? is xp and is a program jaja i dont know, but is there any way to change the installation way to xp or something

    Well right click it if its an exe file and under the compatibility tab, see if you can set it to run for Windows 95!

    Ah well then i cant help u there sorry, although if it was an exe the compatibility mode should have worked!

    well u can change compatibility mode of an exe file so that would be a good shot!

    Well if (s)he cant install it, they cant very well change the compatibility can they? ;P


    Seriosulyt though, edriver, have you tried to install it? There should be no problems.

    if the installation file was an exe file Praetor then, you could change the compatibility of it and the installation might run?

    Very clever... i didnt think of that one! Although I dont think it is very common that installers have OS issues although i guess it is possible :)

    Hello edriver, I just wanted to be clear about some things. Is this game for Windows 95 and you have Windows XP? And you want to install it? When you played it or talked to someone who played it, did it run in DOS? IF that is the case then you will need eDOS. this is an emulator that is really good at emulating dos programs in XP or 2000 that are not DOS based. If it is a special program writen for Windows95, then it should work in WinXP. Just instal as normal and see if plays. IF not you can always uninstall.
