i bought AOM and i tried to make an image using Alcohol 120 with safedisc 2 but all i got was read errors and an unusble iso file it took 1 hour just to do 4% i have a p42.2g processor running xp can anyone help
This is normal. In effect, CloneCD and Alcohol have a 'fast error skip' option to prevent your reader to use too much time to read the image. Alcohol should have activated this when you seletced "Datatype: safedisc v2". Check the proper settings (or try CloneCD with the 'Fast error skip' option enabled). If it still takes long time, there might be some hardware problems.. More, you'll probably have to grab a NO-CD patch for it, or you'll have to put the original CD inside the reader, to play the backup copy (I'm not sure of that, but in any case I warned you...)
