I'M not surei f this is the correct area to post this, but im despreate. Recently for some reason my laptop will only charge while its turned off 100%, and sometimes i can get it to charge for a short while while its on..but its a pain unplugging and plugging the cord out and in. It doesnt even run off of the AC, it just shows that the battery is discharging..and sometimes the charger light blinks in and out. Could someone help me plz. Im using an HP. The ac cord is fine, it does the same with 3 others ive tested, the battery was purchased in July...I dont know what to do from here, besides taking it to be hopefully repaired. I thought id just get you guys/gals oppinions before doing so.

    me? what would I do?

1-start with a cheep voltage and amp tester and see if the right voltage and amps is coming from the transformer (aka adaptor) and the battery

2- make sure thats the right transformer for that computer

check for polarity, voltage, and amps

all the above trouble shot i would buy a new battery

    good luck
