Not unless it is a support operating system. Go to their site and look.

It isn't for linux I'm pretty sure....But you might be able to run it in a Windows Emulator such as "Wine"

Yes but you would probubley have to reinstall it to FAT32 unless you can convert your partitions to FAT32......But I like it just as ext3 :D

Your a little confused. The Linux format is ext3 and the iPod format is FAT32. Neither would have to be converted. The Linux ext3 format supports FAT32 and will read and write to it.

I'm not a guru either and still learning. I try to learn something new every day. Takes a lot of reading and making notes.

No. You don't need to use an emulator. I should see it as a drive. Just like any other USB device.

With Amarok there is no need for iTunes.

well i ordered a copy of unbunto....but they said it might take a few weeks, so we'll find out then

If you ordered the free CD's from the Unbunto web site, they'll take about a month to get.

The quick way is to download the ISO's and then burn to CD. Unless your on dial-up then it would take forever to download.

There are also lots of web sites that sell ready-made distros of Linux in all flavors, really cheap.
