   I need to be able to record a video clip of a file download dialogue box in Windows, does anyone know of any software that will do this?

   Camtasia is by far the best screen capture tool, and it allows you to select only a portion of the screen to record. Their website is: http://www.techsmith.com/.

   This is really pulling my memory but arent those animations just that? animations/clips? I think either they come with somehting like VIsualBasic or somewhere on the MSDN site... i dunno.
