MAJOR HELP NEEDED WITH EAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I have been using EAC for about 2 weeks now. Most of the cd's i have ripped have been sucessfull. But since wednesday I have encontered problems. Some cd's wont rip at all where as others i have to skip tracks and go back to the ones that cant rip later and finish the cd that way. Is it just vary on what cd or am I doing something wrong.
In the compression settings options this is what i have selected for the external compression tab. "use external program is ticked.
Parameter passing scheme = LAME MP3 Encoder. Program,including path used for compression = C:\Program Files\Exact Audio Copy\lame.exe. (This is where LAME is located on my PC)
Additional command line options: = --alt-preset standard.
Bit rate: = Variable Bitrate 192kBit/s.
Delete WAV after compression box is ticked. High quality is selected and
Add ID3 tag box is ticked. What am I doing wrong. Much help is need and I would be gratefull.
