    hi

I'm new at trying to burn Cd's. I down loaded several songs. I burned them on a DVD-R disc only to find out, it won't work in my car. Can you give me some advice? I'm just now understanding that the cd I burn was a data file. It only works on my computer. I guess I've learn a little. Now I need to find out how to make my files playable in my car.

If the songs where downloaded then they are most likely in mp3 or some other format not recognizable by the standard cd player you will need to convert them which any cd burning program is capable of doing. Even Windows Media Player will do this (look under the burn option)

    cheers
