matrix modchip

    i have the matrix in my xbox and the light on the chip is green when i turn on the console. however I dont think the bios are on the chip b/c the start-up screen is the same. should i re-flash or is it possible i fried my chip?

    you may try reflashing but it sounds(even tho you have the light) like its an alignment issue.. when you flashed it did you verify the flash?

    I dont think you will need to re-flash your chip. When I installed mine (matrix) My Xbox start up screen never changed and Im able to play my back up games.
