    Hi people...

I've got Win XP and there are certain programs that load at startup (the ones that appear on the taskbar by the clock) that I would like to disable. I've tried to go to Add/Remove programs but they do not appear.

where can I find on the registry a list of all programs that load automatically at start-up?

    Thanks

Start then Run. In the Open box, type msconfig.exe followed by enter. Once displayed, click on the "Startup" tab, then uncheck the boxes or progs you do not want to startup
