more then 20 songs?

    is it possible to put more then 20 songs on a cd? i have mp3 format, and i heard my freind had over 120 songs on a cd and i wanted to know how did he do it?

    Yes and No.

    If you are making an Audio CD you can have up to 74 or 80 mins (depends on the blank cd)

    BUT. if you make a MP3 CD, yes you can have 120 songs on it, BUT not all players will play MP3.

    So you will need a special CD-Player that will play MP3's.

    if i was to have a mp3 cd player does it matter if the songs are in a folder? like playlist 02 and then once thats open all the songs are there?

    As far as i know, all the songs for a MP3 disc, have to been in the root directory of the CD.
    Eg all the files are then when u first open the CD, not in folders.

    how would i put it in a root directory which program? becaues i used sonic stage and it puts it automatically into a root directory....

    Root directory is just the First directory on a disk/drive.

    Eg if you open up your Hard Drive, or even CD, the files you see when you first click on it is in the Root Directory.

    I havnt used Sonic Stage before.

    All you need to do is go into the folder with the MP3's and drag them across to the other side.

    Instead of dragging a folder across, and having the folder in the root directory, then the mp3's in that.

    thnx, you've been a great help all i need now is for somone to tell me if alcohol 120% could do that or n e other program?

    I dont think Alcohol 120% can do MP3 cd's... it might.

    You can download a Free 30 day trial of Nero and try that out.

    You can download it straight from here, just click on Nero or go into the Software Section.
