My DVD's keep freezing!!

    Hi,

    I recently removed InCd because I thought it was causing problems. My DVDs freeze about half way in. At first it is not too bad just a small glitch. By about 3/4 of the way through it is unplayable.

    I defragment often about once a week. I pretty much turn all applications off and leave 3 or 4 running programs.

    Lots of info, but none of it really that relivant to your problem..

    First what brand of media are you using?
    Are these files some sort of AVI before you proccess them with NVE?
    Do you put labels on your DVD's?
    What speed do you burn at?
    Do they freeze in a stand alone DVD player or in your DVD ROM drive?

    Yes, what is NVE?

    Do you put labels on your DVD's?
    No.

    What speed do you burn at?
    Generally 1x.

    Do they freeze in a stand alone DVD player or in your DVD ROM drive?
    They freeze in my PS2.My ps2 is my DVD player.

    So they don't freez or skip if you play them in your computer?

    NVE is Nero Vision Express.. I am not so sure on what your process is for making the DVD. Are you using Nero Recode or if they are AVI files are you using NVE? In other words are these being backed up from an original DVD or from a download?
