My ome sony DW-U12A can't detect DVD!

    I've been using the drive for quite a while ( since last X-mas) and never have any problem. I started burning all kinds of thing with Alcohol 120; but after about 25 dvds, it won't detect blank DVDs (memorax) no more:( heck, I just bought The Sim 2 dvd ver. and it can't even detect the game's DVD. Anybody knows what's the deal here? Thanks

    Btw, I've been reading a lot, but I just can't figure it out because I don't know much about advance computer language. I looked at other post and found out that My default setting is on DMA. I'm running p4 winxp 3.0ghz. it's my first time so please be gentle:p
