Encouraging piracy can get you banned 2IIPack, read the forum rules :)

langthang, if your copy of Nero was originally registered just enter the original serial numbers, if it was a demo version of course it's expired.

Now do the right thing and buy a legal key.

    jeez--

i got nero free, and actually all of my software free, from windows 95-XP to all my burning programs, roxio, nero, dvd Xcopy, windows, word, photoshop, illustrator, etc. i get all of the cd-roms from public libraries and then load them, no problem. software is way too expensive and fragile and changing to pay $$ for.

Shame on all of your hypocrites who hide behind the vale of annonymity. Everyone knows that while you pound away at a member asking for free software, you are using your other arm to dust off your cd tower, filled with burnt copies of the latest and greatest in music, games, applications and porn movies. Shame....

LOL, look at the newbies coming out of the woodwork, grant1982, the word is veil not vale, and aren't you also hiding behind a VEIL of anonymity also.

Who is everyone anyway, there's you and who else??

You don't know me, so don't presume I live by your standards and morals.

Sounds like the Kid just wanted a free copy, like you get other free dvd ripping programs off the net. He obviously isn't an expert on it otherwise he wouldn't be asking in this forum. Now, he's been warned, and thats that. Whats with the speech about hiding in the veil on anonymity dude?

It's not worth arguing about, though he did post in all caps straight after, and you'd have thought he'd read the rules after being reprimanded for breaking them and having a link posted to him, so im backing umug and co.

Im just a newbie though but im trying to cool things down. On your side umug!

    to end this feud...

Just use shrink, save the files to ISO.
then burn with a free application like Burn4Free. a toolbar comes with the latest one, you can just use a spyware remover to remove it (even though as far as i know it is not actual spyware)...

    now EVERYONE CALM DOWN.

No body judges anyone here, there are just some people that take comments too seriously... if a person wants to be a smartass, let them its their decision, just will all of the noobs stop taking things so seriously, the "veil" of anonymity is a privelage that we ALL share, so dont mock others for expressing their opinions... i am not taking sides here because the rules are rules, no PIRCACY and there should be another rule for people to get off of their high horses and CALM DOWN.
gear79, permiggs and bilbo65 are jokers, its cause of people like them that make this forum so much fun... ddp is just doing what is right, he accepted bewing a mod under the conditions that he would ENFORCE THE RULES...
langthang, no body accused you of being a cheapskate, all was a joke.
grant1982, CALM DOWN, there is no need to go off half-cocked and start calling us hypocrits, if you noticed no body was making any judgement, and if they do, as long as it is not in and IN YOUR FACE way, they are entitled to say whatever they want to say as long as it is not offensive or against forum rules.
@ rdmercer1, what you said is correct, the worst thing we can say is no, but sometimes it is necessary to say [bold]NO[/bold], all of us are here because of the help that is provided by afterdawn, as long as there is no relating to piracy or the such, all that will be said is no, which is what happened in this case, there was no requesting of cracks or piracy in any manner, which is why no body made any accusations, only warnings.
@billybob i completely agree.. time to cool things off
