hello i got a lite-on dvdrw sohw-1633s but it won't read cd-r but reads every dvd+/-/rw. when i open up nero to back up a cd its says to insert a blank cd-r and when i do that my computer starts to beep and its says nothing was inserted. can anyone help me please....
hi i've got a similar problem but it has affected both drives on my machine. none of them can read a blank cd or a cd which has been burned but can read original cd's. dvd functions are unaffected ie can read and write no problem. if i find an answer i'll let you know
