need help. Xecuter2.6 on 1.6b, Flash problem :(

    I have recently installed my shiny new X-ecuter 2.6 lite into my 1.6b crystal X-Box.
    I created my Bios disc using m8_16.bin(renamed to bios.bin of course).
    The flash procedure (Flashbios 3.0.3) completed and shut down as it was supposed to...
    now for the problem at hand......

    IT KEEPS REBOOTING INTO FLASHBIOS SCREEN!!
    it is driving me up the wall with this craziness...
    if anyone could enlighten me, i would be most appreciative..

    How big was the bios you flashed?

    hey i dont really know the problem i have yet to install mine. the chip is still in the mail. i was woundering how you installed your chip because i read that there it is very hard to. if you can email me triiock2@yahoo.com thank in advance

    It appears you are installing the m8 16 when you need to be installing the m8PLUS_16 bios. This is made for 1.6b versions. Just a thought, but you probably either already tried that by now or bought another chip.
