need serious help

    okay my old toshiba satellite 2210cdt's usb port got messed up and now it wont reconize so i was wondering if there was a adapter for a serial port that connects usb devices so i can use my wifi adapter

    Even if there was, a Serial port is only 9600bps, it simply isn't fast enough to run a wireless adapter. The best thing you can do is buy a PCMCIA card with additional USB ports on it.

    dam well call me careless but i messed up the pcmcia slot too dam so theres nothing i can do

    YOU messed it up? Or is the laptop chipset just damaged?
