Nero won`t kick in automatically

I have recently upgraded my operating system from Windows 98 to XP. After re-downloading DVD Shrink, and reinstalling Nero everything is working fine, but whereas Nero used to automatically take over from Shrink, it now stops after reading a movie and you have to manually open Nero and burn the files to disc.

Not such a big deal, but would appreciate if anyone has any ideas how to get it happening automatically again.

 

Try this:
At Shrink, click 'edit', 'preferences', 'file i/o', 'enable burning with Nero".

Thanks but that is already checked, so no luck there.

 

I'd go for deleting and re-installing both programs again, can't do any harm.

Maybe you should reinstall Nero first, then Shrink.
