I might be getting a hold of an older iBook laptop from a family member in the near future. I currently have a NETGEAR 4 port wireless router that has about 5 PCs linked to it. Can I add the iBook to my network and basically combine Apple & PC products or is this not recommended? If I can connect it to the router, will it allow me to share folders/files amongst all the other PCs. I know there might be limitations due to the PC/Apple issue so I don't expect to be able to share the printer. If anything, I would just like to be able to get the iBook internet access

Apple Airport Extremes work just fine with Netgear Routers. You can even enable 128bit WEP.
