hey guys i just bought a new external hard drive from new egg. its a western digital 250 gb book.
i was wondering, i was reading some reviews and it said that it was FAT32 file system.

i have no clue what the difference between FAT32 and NTFS is.

and which is better for my external hard drive?

    thanks.

If you are with XP then full format to ntfs. Fat32 has limited protection and limits file size to less then 4 gig.
