New hard drive , super slow loading !

    ok so it takes me 1 min to boot to the ecox dashboard with my new WD 200gig 720rpm hdd , its also really loud and meakes click/knocking sounds.

    i can run everything but it takes forever to load programs. Halo took 2 min to load off the hard drive ! ! ! !

    anyone else know whats going on ?

    you probably have a slow cache HDD mine is 8mb you might have a 2mb or maybe even a 1mb
