I just bought a new DVD Writer. It's a Pioneer DVR-A08XL. What programs should I use in to bakup DVD's? One of my friends uses DVD Srhink and DVD Decrypter, is that good enough?

    yes,
download anydvd, and dvdshrink and you should be good to go,
also you need a burning software such as nero or dvddycrypt,
some would tell you to read and do research... I personally think it is funny... It takes the same amount of time, to respond v/s telling you to read..
    goodluck man, and enjoy

The reason people in here are telling some to read and research this Forum is simple ; after a few months YOU will soon find out.

I have Nero 6 Ultra Edition. Is this good enough for a burning software?

If you prefer to do Movies only with working menu's you might try AnyDVD along with your Nero Recode2. See guides on its use created by ScubaPete.

Recode2 has much the same look and feel as DVD Shrink since the person who originally created Shrink now works for Nero. Hence the reason for no more updates on Shrink!

    Lastly, I agree 100% with Jeanc1's opinion. Hi-Five Jeanc1...
