no sound with tv capture card

    ok, i have sound when im watching cable with it, but when i am watching a vid or mp3 from my computer i dont hear sound. do i have somthing pluged in wrong on the back?

    If you get sound when you watch TV, and you get sound on your recordings, then it's plugged in right.
    If you want to watch your recorded videos (or other videos) in the capture program, you have to change the audio input from Line In, to whatever your sound card is in the capture program's setup.
    A waste of time.
    Use a capture program to capture, use the tv tuner bit to watch TV, and use a good video player to play the stuff you capture.
