    Thank you, LOCOENG, but there are now some sites with references to a solution to unlock the Nokia 2610, and I'm ASSUMING (yes, I know that's a dangerous thing to do in this arena) unlock other DCT5-class 'phones. Judging from the advertisement from the site:

    It looks like someone (or some group) has figured this out. Looks like an IMEI-based software/calculator solution.

    From the pricey ($65) charge, I guess they're milking it for whatever it's worth, as long as they can.

    Any ideas?
