i have been having a problem for a couple of weeks now and dont know what to do. when i am using my pc the screen is going blank and showing no signal, but my power light is still on. is there any tools i can use to find out what if anything is happeneing when my pc shuts down in order to try and correct it? also how do i find out if my pc is overheating? this problem has happened a couple of times when i havent even been using it too. i have done a virus scan and all is clear, no spyware either. please help as it is getting very annoying now
almost enough info does your pc freeze? does it restart itsself? look inside and check for dust in the cpu heatsink if you have a graphics card look there too have a friend who lost a agp6800 to dust poor sod also to find out why you can look at the event viewer in xp thats start rightclick my computer, click manage,event viewer, system look for big red dots with an x in them
