HI,I ran the CHKDSK and when i got to the end of it,it was gone before i had a chance to read all of is there any harm running again to catch what if anything was found on it.
I got a XP PROFESSIONAL INSTALL DISK should it come up on the screen right away, you know there are some days it is hard to get two brain cells to play well together.
My PC has not crashed lately, but it is just annoying that when you may see something that
may be wrong but does not really effect the running of the PC.(i.e. error code 1060)

I have been working with computers for over 50 years and it happens to all of us. LMAO

Go to Start > Run > enter " sfc /scannow " without the quotes in the box and click OK.

it will run and if it can't find a file it will ask you to insert the disk. At that point it will either find and install it or maybe tell you that the disk is not the correct system version or whatever... Don't hurt to try.. Any old port in a storm, I always say.

You would not have gotten anything out of the end of CHKDSK anyway it has done it's thing and if it helped, that's great.

Do the sfc /scannow thingy and let me know.

If you would have used step 3 of Tweaking.com it does the SFC/Scannow also.

LOL, yeah, I know it works and I suggest it often, but when a simple command will work as well, if not better, then I suggest it.

@JST1946, have you used step #2 in tweaking (CHKDSK)? I have tried it but doesn't seem to work.
may be a bug, I haven't posted anything with him yet. Waiting to see if it pops up on his site.

@deak91, you know there are ways to block all crap from getting into your computer, but if a new one does slip by there is a way to kill it without running any anti malware software and only takes about 7 or 8 minutes in my computer. As it is, I just love to get a Trojan or malware to see if I can defeat it... LAMO I very seldom get one but when I do I love to track it down and RUB IT OUT! LMAO

HI,Well i fixed my GPU problem got the (GALAXY 61 TGS4HX2LTX Ge Force GT610 GC)from
WALMART cost about $48.00 and no waiting 3 months for reward card it seems to be working all right,i could have saved few bucks but did not want to put up with the reward card that would have taken about 3 months to get and if i have a problem with it i could go to
    WALMART and exchange it maybe.
