    Hey does anyone know if Phtalocyanine via CMC is decent , or is it a no-no?

    Not recommended. Quality is inconsistent. Depends on the drive etc. though. You can get Ritek in the same price range, so no reason to support CMC that has delivered nothing but trouble for years.
