Pioneer DVR 108...... won't write above 1.4 speed !!!!!

    Hi

    Please help , I've just bought a Pioneer DVR108 but it won't write above 1.4 speed. Firmware is latest 1.14
    discs have been Bulkpaq Orange 4x and Datawrite Grey 8x.
    I'd appreciate any help ...thanks

    groovy these 2 paticular discs do have problems with write speed on certain drives.I get 2 speed with the orange Bulkpaq.Using a NEC drive and the Grey Datawrite my friend gets 4 speed using a sony drive.Check the Pioneer website to find out which is the most compatible media for your drive.Also get yourself a copy of the freeware software from the link below which will come in handy for testing media.
