This problem seemed to begin after reinstalling windows after inernet related incidents. Using DVD Shrink to burn fracture, Death proof and 2 or 3 others the playback freezes after about 30 or 40 minutes. On my tv dvd player I get a message that disc is scracthed or needs cleaning and if playing back on the computer the playback and screeen freezes until I eject the disc. And have bought and tried different blank discs.
1. Use either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim blank media 2. Don't burner faster than 8x max 3. Make sure you have the latest most up to date firmware for you're drive/burner,check here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php 4. Make sure you are burning on a clean machine without other programs running
