Does anyone no how to copy this game? It has safedisc 4 on it. I have tryed burning it with 120% but it does not work. Is there any program that can copy it? this is a very good game and I need to back it up.

    What profile did you use?

    What read/write speed?

What make/model burner are you using?

I burnt it at 40x and I selected safedisc 2/3 as the protection. My burner is a sony 16x dvd+r and a 48x cd-r burn.

40X is way too fast. It needs to be 4X for both the read and write. These latest protections require the utmost accuracy to make a working copy.

Have you backed up any other games with that particular drive or is this the first try?

I have burnt lots of games that fast with that burner, like zero hour, rise of nations, ect. I do not have a copy I can read. The image file is all redy on the computer. Does the fact that its safedisc 4 mean anything?

My friend ripped it to my computer and then he had to leave, but he wanted me to make a backup copy for him. He ripped it with 120%.

If you haven't done so already I'd burn the game at 4X and see if that gets you anywhere. Generally SafeDisc is more tolerant of being read at high speeds but the last version (3.20.022) needed to be read quite slow so I assume the same is true with version 4.

You should be able to set a 4X burn through A120 which is the app you're using to burn, correct?
