I am having some trouble playing backups of my dvd's on my ps2.
I have version 1.9 ps2 (able to play all dvd backups)
I have a dvd player, burner, and a cd burner.
I am needing to know what is the best way to rip and then burn dvds so they will play in the ps2?

    Thanks

    Jeremy

Assuming that you have a mod chip installed, Prassi Primo DVD2 or, DVD Decrypter both work nicely for backing up PS2 games. strone

AnyDVD works very well with Nero and CloneDVD2, take your pick. Very good combo for backing up movies.
They both cost $$ but they're well worth it.

Not sure of how to get your ps2 to play backup dvds cause i've never tried it. Buy a multi format dvd player. They work great and fairly inexpensive.

I wouldnt know how to do that. Ya dvd-r and dvd+r works on my v9 ps2. I am thinking about getting a double layer drive but the dvds for those are REALY expensive.

burnt dvds will work on a ps2 only if the media is quality and u burn at 4x or less... i suggest 2x.. always works for me no matter what dvd creation software i use
