I've read through so many posts to see if this problem is addressed, but I am so frustrated after almost 2 days trying to deal with this. I've uploaded, uninstalled, re-uploaded codecs, but my computer kept crashing when I would go to play them. So I uninstalled all, uploaded FFDshow, and I think that works. One problem, I have picture but no audio now. I've uploaded the files to AVIcodec AND Gspot and both say I have all the components. Does anybody have any ideas? Oh yeah, I downloaded AC3 Filter after the fact, just to check. Nope, still no sound. Anyone? Thank you soooo much.
Continuation...I just realized I have no more sound on my computer. I can't even play the mp3s on Media Player since I installed FFDShow...but it is the only thing that plays my videos. Anyone? (P.S. the volume is turned up)
You might have accidentally uninstalled needed audio codecs on your system mainly an mp3 codec. You can install the Radium MP3 codec: http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/11/1/2/11-1-2-10.shtml
