My PC is an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.00Ghz with 1GB Ram.

I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB)

When i play games the PC is ok but when i try to play the latest games with heavier graphics then the pc gets slow

I am going to buy an Nvidia GeForce 7950 GX2 (1GB)

Will this card be enough for me to play good games smoothly? And is it compatible with all PCs?

Will an additional 1GB Ram (To make it 2GB for my Sytem) make it even smoother?

Please let me know on this (espesially about the card)

    Thanks

if i were you, i would get the GeForce 8800GTS 320MB It will beat the 7900GX2 in most benches and supports DX10 you can find the 8800GTS 320MB for as low as $270 now. to run any of these, you will need a PCI Express x16 compatible motherboard and a recommended 450watt powersupply.

heres a table from tomshardware.com that tells you which is better

and as for the RAM, more of this never hurts, and yes it will improve your PC's overall performance
