well may 1/2 a backup, because i got the pic but no sound backup -dawn of the dead- used decryter to get iso. file to hard drive (right from the start, i didnt get any sound. I used daemon tools to playback iso file to check and it had no sound then - a post said it might be software?so i took a long shot and it failed...duh...) i've got a sony dru-700a dual layer dvd burner used verbatim dvd+r DL disk 8.5gb used decrypter ver-3.5.1.0 to burn as well because its sound related? i run by sound from my motherboard..no soundcard?...u think this may be a prob? i also tried another dvd (using decryther)to test and it also had no sound so its something system related ?maybe?....i am a newbie after all thanks for any advise ......
Hi duttch, welcome to aD, I believe Dawn of the Dead is somewhere around 7.2 GB so it's not at all posible to back it up using only DVD Decrypter. DVD Decrypter can only backup DVD-5's (< 4.36GB). When you are dealing with DVD-9's (>4.36GB)you'll need something like DVD Shrink. What guide have you been using ? Pete
