I've been trying to burn dvd-r with a new sony burner i got from walmart. It started out ok and burned some disks that I made myself but then now i'm trying to burn some dvd's that I had a video store make. They put some old 8mm tapes I had on them. They said I'd be able to burn them but when I try it copy's the image of the disk and when I put a blank one in it will start to go a little and I'll get a message that says "cannot write track at correct position with this recorder." Does anyone know why? I've tried a few more of the ones that I had made and all worked so far except one which got the same message. So that one and all the ones from the video store won't work. Please help.
