Hi, I've followed the guide on this site and split the AVSEQ01.dat into the m1v and mp2 files with tmpgenc and then converted to 48000 kHz, but when I try to author with dvdit or spruce up, it says invalid media. it does the same if I try to multiplex with tmpgenc. Can anybody help me?
Also if the movie is on 3 VCd's to I have to merge the resulting files in any way?

I would recomend you use mainconcept to convert your avi files to dvd format then put through tmpgenc dvd author. You will be able to join the vcd's together with tmpg by simply putting them each file in your new project.Mainconcept is a great programe for converting the files to dvd and put them to the setting tmpgenc dvd author will accept.
