    Hello all,

Sorry if this question is repetative (I've searched various faq's and forums on multiple websites) but here goes.

Totall noob to this DVD stuff and I was following the guide to convert a DiVX AVI to DVD posted here. Everything seemed pretty simple and straight foward until I got to the part where it showed the size of the DVD (bitrate and such).

My problem is that even at the lowest setting that it will go to (2000) its still about 150% over capacity for a DVD-R.

Does this mean I have to burn it on two DVD's or use a dual-layer DVD (I have a dual layer burner)?

Is there any way to take that AVI DiVX file and see if there is any way to shrink it so it fits on a standard 4.3GB DVD?

Thank you very much for your patience

    Nnyan

check audio, i think its vbr.
what you can do is demux and decode to wav and then encode.

Thanks for the info, but I found a thread (sorry don't have the link found it at home) about setting the begining and end part in the settings and now it's sized properly!
