   my new computer cant seem to load some images and instead shows a red x in a white box. i remember that when i first got the comp, it didnt do this. does anyone know how to fix this?

   you need a program to read files, for example acrobat reader for pdf files, word for doc files, excel for xls files & other programs for other files. what are the extensions of those files you can't open
