Hello sorry if this is in the wrong section but im new.
i have films on disc which are divx format and ive just bought a dvd burner so i was wanting to convert them to dvd.
As some of these freeze every now and again i was wondering if i have to repair them before i can do this and if so can i and how?

Yes you can repair them and that would probably be the best thing to do. After transefering them to your PC use DivFix to repair the files. Then use TMPGEnc to encode it to DVD or another program.
