Share folders

    Hi i have a computer running Windows XP, i want to share i folder i have on this machine so i can send the folder to my laptop running Vista. how can i do this? i also have a linksys router and crossovers cables

    You need to setup a shared network to setup "shared folders" between computers, that either wireless or hardwired.

    Start/control panel/network setup wizard/ and go from there.

    once done you need to setup the other computer the same way.

    where is the network setup in control panel on Vista i cant find it. Ive managed to create one on XP fine though. Thanks.
