I have a Xbox with a mod and I want to modify another one. I don't have any of the games listed as needed to softmod and the xbox that I want to modify seems to have the updated dash, and this thing will never be i live so to hell with saving the eeprom.

    1. you need the eeprom to make it work at all, not just for live

    2. if it is not modded and you don't have the games to softmod, you have to softmod using hotswap.

    3. search this site for tutorials, there are heaps that explain exactly how to do it

My guides will show you everything!

As stated above, the eeprom is needed! Period! The softmod won't complete without it and if you stuff you console, the eeprom is the only thing that can save you!
