Can anyone help me with this !!! I have the above mentioned drive and use it for backing up my dvd's with dvd x copy. unfortunately when I use dvd x copy to try and back up a region 2 disk I now recive the following message (error reading disk in drive ) The cause of this is my drive is locked into region 1 and as such will no longer read or play region 2 films. I have installed the latest firmware but so far no joy. If no one out there can help me with this I fear I will have to send the drive back for repair, and as many of you know this will mean weeks and more likely months with out my drive. Any help would be great. Thanks. P.S I have already tried to change this in the settings.
Hi I too am awaiting a reply to your question I live in the UK and have a number of region 1 dvd discs and many region 2 discs I hope there is someone out there that can help
