If anyone has the original 500A_10f.exe Firmware Upgrade I would appreciate it if you could E-mail me with the file as an attachment. I installed the 500A_20f.exe Upgrade and now have a problem. DVD-R's that I originally could write at 2X will now only write at 1X, real pain in the ... and Sony Tech support won't respond to my E-mails. Sony keeps all their firmware in the same place, you just have to know the name... I think you can downgrade your firmware to an older edition. Before youupgrade, you should check the statistics usually supplied with the firmware stating compatibilites and writing speeds.
